Careers behind the camera

Wednesday 20th October 2021 To explore possible film industry roles and career paths  1-  C 2-  D 3-  B 4-  A Action, suspense and tense  The scene that has the most tense is when James jumps off the bridge and is getting shot at.  Prediction  i think there is going to be 22 cuts in the first 30 seconds of the trailer There was 25 cuts in the first 30 seconds.  I agree with the statement "The greater frequency of cuts the greater the tension" because every cut shows an intense scene and it goes fast with dramatic music building tension.

Media Language Analysis

Image
Wednesday 6th October  LO: To analyse a media text using media language  They have used a medium long shot to show that James Bond is holding a gun and the holster on his left leg. This is better than a long shot because you can see close up details such as his watch, gloves, his gun and facial expressions in the medium shot. Bond is wearing a watch to show wealth as his sleeve is tucked underneath it. He looks like a professional hitman and is wearing black gloves. The film is called 'no time to die' maybe meaning something about the watch.  Gunshot - To show the action and danger in the film Car crashes - To add to the excitement  Motorbikes -   Helicopter - To add vehicles and show they go to different places Punches - To show physical hard violence  The transitions in the trailer was fade to black to show the different fun scenes in the movie The pace of the trailer at the end goes faster to show intensity and to be dramatic with the music....

Theoretical Framework

Image
Wednesday 29th September 2021 L/0: to apply theoretical framework to media texts  Media Language  All the different elements used to construct any media products  Establishing scenes tell you where the scene takes place.  Camerawork: Camerawork is the way a filmed has been filmed. There is many different angles: eye level shot, low angle shot, high angle shot, hip level shot, knee level shot, ground level shot, shoulder-level shot and dutch angle shot.  A camera movement refers to the way a camera shifts to visually narrate and shape a viewers perspective of a scene .Effective and well-placed camera movements make for a professional-quality final product. Soundtrack: Includes ALL sound heard in a film/TV show - Music  - Sound effects  - Dialogue  - Voice over  It can be diegetic or non diegetic.   Diegetic sound is a noise which has a source on-screen.  They are noises which have not been edited in, for example dial...
